Parliament's Portfolio Committee on Police is holding a special Summit on gang-related violence on 19 August 2026 in Cape Town. Ordinary South Africans, especially those who have lived through gang violence, are invited to come and speak directly to Parliament about their experiences and ideas. Written submissions are also welcome before or on the day.
